Our Story:
The first planning meeting of I-ACT was held September 21, 2013 at the Boise Public Library. Ten community theaters were represented along with AACT staff members Ron Ziegler, Field Services Director and Jon Rake, Region IX Rep. Co-Founders involved in establishing the organization were Debbie and Frank Hertzog (Eagle), George Green (Coeur d’Alene), Jonathan Perry (Nampa), Dena Ruffalo (Boise), Brad Ooley (Boise), and Anastasia Van Allen (Boise). I-ACT has hosted three State Festivals ( 2015, 2017, and 2019) and one Region IX Festival (2017)
Connecting America’s theatres, AACT provides expertise, assistance, networking & support to help create the best possible experience for participants & audiences alike.
