ARTi
Member Theater
Established in 1986, The Actors’ Repertory Theatre of Idaho (ARTI) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to producing professional quality theatre for Southeastern Idaho audiences. Since its beginnings, ARTI has been a dinner theatre venue, offering audiences not only a wide variety of theatre, but also an intimate dining experience including beer and wine service. Since 2001, ARTI has owned its theatre, located in Historic, Downtown Idaho Falls, and recently named The Phoenix.
Often presenting groundbreaking and award-winning theatrical productions, as well as regional premieres, ARTI is known for its “adult” fare including such hits as The Vagina Monologues, Pillowman, Beauty Queen of Leenane, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Sordid Lives, and The Laramie Project. A favorite motto of ARTI and its members is “For Mature Audiences Only”.
In keeping with traditional repertory theatre, ARTI relies on the dedication and talents of a core, or stock, theatre company which includes actors, directors and set and costume designers as well as other technicians. Audiences become familiar with this resident company both on and off stage. To familiarize themselves with the organization and become involved, newcomers are encouraged to audition, contact a board member or other member of the company, or attend an ARTI production.

Chaotic Acts of Theatre
Member Theater
In 2010, Chaotic Acts of Theatre began out of a request for a theater component to the Treasure Valley’s Big Read of “To Kill a Mockingbird.” After performing in multiple locations including the historic downtown courthouse, other requests kept the nascent theater company, then named Theatre Sans Limites, busy performing. From the tales of Mark Twain, to parodies of popular fandoms and original local works, CAT strives to perform outside the box and without limits.”
Eagle Theatre Company
Member Theater
A grass roots effort began in early 2020 by a small group of community theatre enthusiasts who had a strong desire to bring quality live theatre to Eagle. After a Covid pause, theatrical endeavors resumed in Sept 2021 when Eagle Theatre Company (ETC) held its first outreach meeting and gathered support to start a community theatre. Charter Board Members came together with a common vision, shared passion, and mutual understanding of the benefits theatre brings to a community. They built a strong nonprofit organization and attended AACT webinars to include topics on volunteers, marketing and community theatre management. A partnership has been established with the Eagle Performing Arts Center (EPAC) where productions are held in a black box theatre.
ETC has a bright future! We celebrate reaching our goal of 100 Charter Members, the success of our 2022-2023 inaugural season, and all those who have supported our mission of bringing quality live theatre to Eagle.
